Education

Soo Ling achieved her PhD at UCL, supervised by Professor Anthony Finkelstein, and received funding from UCL Business to commercialise her research. She was awarded PhD from University of New South Wales in Australia and Bachelor of Software Engineering from the Australian National University, where she graduated top 3 with first class honours.

She also studied entrepreneuship, negotiatation and managing change at the London Business School, and obtained a Professional Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher and Professional Education from UCL Institute of Education.

She is the winner of numerous awards and scholarships: UCL PhD scholarship, Australian Postgraduate Award, NICTA Research Project Award, Nate Zusman Scholarship, Australian Computer Society Prize for Computer Science, CSC Most Valuable Team Member Award, ANU Honours Scholarship, ANU Summer Research Scholarship, ANU Dean's Prize, and ANU Chancellor’s Letter of Commendation, Outstanding Student Award.
