A few things about my research.

Torsion test on an elastic bar. The conventional finite element method (3\(\times\)3\(\times\)12 HEX8) is compared with the isogeometric analysis method (uniform B-Splines). Note the substantial deformation of the finite element grid on the right when torsion reaches \(540^\text{o}\).

Uniform inflation of a near-incompressible hyperelastic cylindrical tube. The conventional finite element method (1,600 HEX27) is compared with the isogeometric analysis method (non-uniform B-Splines). The blue wireframe on the left depicts the network of the control points of the NUBRS discretization.

Demonstration of a breast wound-healing simulation in upright position. The colour contour depicts collectively the dynamics of cell density, tissue maturation and neo-vascularisation in the wound, during a 3-month period.

In-silico cancer model simulations of tumour-induced angiogenesis and growth.
