The aim of the project was to create a network of globally connected devices and provide a rich feature set in the form of APIs to simplify device discovery, device registration, logging sensor derived data and data retrieval functionality for Gadgeteer and other hardware platforms. It also offers well documented APIs and libraries to developers with medium level programming skills to get them started with developing applications based on Internet of Things.

It was a framework for the automatic reconstruction and delivery of Web content based on cognitive and human factors. In particular, a semantic Web-based adaptation framework is proposed that enables authors to enrich Web content with semantic markups, which are further processed and reconstructed by an adaptation mechanism based on cognitive factors of users.

The Airplace is a platform for the Evaluation of Fingerprint Positioning Algorithms on Android Smartphones. It is an end-to-end mobile positioning platform developed on Android smartphones that facilitates the construction of the radiomap and features real-time positioning, while offering the additional option to assess the performance of different fingerprint-based algorithms with respect to the positioning time, accuracy and power consumption.
