I'm currently a part-time Research Fellow at the Computer Science Department working on the EU funded IP project RUNES "Reconfigurable Ubiquitous Embedded Systems". I'm also a full time PhD student at The Bartlett, School of Graduate Studies.

Before joining UCL I worked in Spain as:

    TEKNIKER is a leading technological research institute in the area of manufacturing, with a specific research focus in the field of ubiquitous computing.
    Research area: applied sociological research into human factors and new technologies including ambient intelligence, virtual communities, social capital, conflict management and emotions in the workplace.
    Additional responsibilities: managing a small team of researchers, developing new projects, project coordination of European-wide multi-disciplinary research consortia.

  • European Affairs Advisor, EGAILAN, S.A, Bilbao, 1997-1999
    EGAILAN is a publicly funded institution that focuses its efforts in the promotion of Education and Training at a regional level (Basque Country).
    Responsibilities: advice on EU structural funds and research policies,preparation and submission of EU research projects funded through the European Social Fund (ESF).

  • Assigned Spanish Expert on IST Strategic Objectives 2.58. ICT for Networked Businesses and 2.5.9 Collaborative Working Environments for the consultation process of Calls 4 and 5 of the IST Initiative, 2004 - 2005.
