This document will be available mid-july, so right in time for the ietf.
We are currently working on it.
But I am a little surprised that we didnt get any feedback from other
carriers and ISPs. More support would help to have a new ietf working
group.
Also, to comment on Dave Meyer e.mail, of course, everything can be done
by adding complexity to the existing architecture. But at some point, it
becomes "better" to restart from a new service model and redesign a less
complex and scalable architecture. The question is did we reach this
point with the current IP multicast architecture? at Sprint, we believe
we did !
