Network Programme - Section 11

Relationships with Projects and Proposals

The scale of RENOIR outlined in this programme prevents us presenting here a comprehensive account of the involvement of individual nodes across the range of programmes. It is worth emphasising that RENOIR nodes cover all the key international and national projects in requirements engineering - in the case of the most significant projects we have a number of key partners within RENOIR. Selected European projects with which RENOIR nodes are linked are: NATURE (6353); F3 (6612); REAIMS ; ORDIT (2301); ICARUS (2537); ITHACA (2121); DAIDA (892); METEOR (432); ISCORE (3023/6071). Other European projects significantly concerned with requirements engineering issues and with which RENOIR nodes are linked include: COMIC; MODELAGE; TEMPORA; INTUITIVE; TODOS; RUBRIC; KAVAS; MENELAS; RECYCLE; SQUID; PROCOS; AMI; PDCS2; MEDICIS.

RENOIR enjoys a particularly close relationship with the PROMOTER Working Group (and its planned successor). This relationship is based on overlapping interests in the requirements engineering process (as a particular focus within software process modelling) and in meta-process (as a particular manifestation of requirements concerns). It is anticipated that RENOIR and PROMOTER will jointly support technical activities in these hinge areas and will provide for exchange of expertise and experience. RENOIR is open to the participation of organisations and individuals taking a process-centred approach to requirements engineering and is keen to benefit from work in this area.
