Fees and Applying for Funding
Fees
The UCL Graduate School Fees
and Costs
web site has more financial information.
We expect the fees for the MSc in Medical Image Computing to be similar
to other MScs in the Faculty of Engineering. In 2006/7 these fees were
£3,168 for a UK/EU full-time student and £15,600 for a
full-time overseas student.
EPSRC Funding
The UK EPSRC recognizes the importance of the training provided by this
type of MSc and a limited number of awards are
available specifically for this MSc. This funding forms part of a
Collaborative Training Account awarded to UCL and administered by us.
The EPSRC web site outlines the eligibility
rules (section CC3) and further details are provided from the
HEFCE site.
In summary, eligibility depends upon your residency status and not on
nationality or country of origin.
- UK status - eligible for award of fees and Stipend. The stipend
for a full-time student is over £14000.
- EU status - eligible for award of fees-only.
You may have UK status if you have a relevant connection with the UK.
Normally this means that you have been ordinarily resident in the UK
for 3 years before your application, or you are a full UK citizen.
Students with family in the UK may also qualify, the rules are
complicated so please check!
This funding is open to eligible students registered full-time or
part-time. See our page on part-time
study.
If you wish to be considered for this funding, please inform us at the time
you apply for the course and indicate this on the application form.
