MSc in Information Security

UCL's MSc in Information Security is a specialist programme for Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Mathematics graduates who wish to be involved with the security aspects of Information Technology. The programme is intended as a foundation to a rewarding career at the more advanced levels of Information Security.

You can either take the full MSc, or the Diploma in Information Security (which does not include the thesis). Both the MSc and Diploma contain a set of three core modules and a choice of optional modules.  Students taking the MSc programme also submit a thesis. For further information please see our programme and syllabus pages.

We have recently opened up a part-time option for studying the MSc in Information Security for UK/EU students only. This is designed to allow you to split the work load over two years, completing the programme with a thesis at the end of the second year.
