AMANDA is a piece of free software that allows you to run a functional programming language almost (but not quite) identical to Miranda, at home on a PC.

All the files needed for the Windows version of AMANDA can be found by following this link: (link) This is a single WinZip file called "amanda204.zip".

I believe this version should work on Win95, Win98, Win2000 and WinNT. I haven't tested it on WinXP. To start Amanda, you need to run Amanda.exe. Note that this latest version of Amanda has a slightly different user interface to that described in the lectures (which are based on an older version).
