Dear Mr Langdon,
Thank you for your letter regarding ID Cards. I am delighted the new Government will be scrapping the costly and unnecessary ID Card programme.

I will write to the relevant Minister, on your behalf, to clarify the need for ID cards to be issued to overseas students and workers. I will of course let you know as soon as I receive a response.
