1. can any of you who had electronic versions of the slides you used in
talks yesterday, ALL send ME copies!!!!


2. some FYIs for checking:

i) This Thursday - seminar on receiver driven layered multicast for
adpative congestion avoidance for multicast video....by Steve McCanne
from LBL/berkeley EE/CS, in 
room 229, at UCL CS at 4pm, 19/9/96

you are welcome to come - if not, it _may_ be on the mbone....
but i wont know til i ask for the speakers ok tomorrow morning.


ii) This friday, 
Hotel Russel, Russel Sq, London, 10am for 10.30 - CDS

Club meeting - talks on the network Computer and Mobility
(check with Carol Becker before you make any long car journeys
though! (Carol Becker <CAB1@WPO.EPSRC.AC.UK> )


iii) We've pencilled the next meeting for 
UCL, Dec 12, 
which i've booked rooms for tentatively - when confirmed, we'll book
dinner - prob. south indian vegetarian (bhel pourri)(


iv) We agreed to organise a project workshop day - David, Morris
and I will invite speakers (starting with you all) and I will do local
arrangements - at 
Management of Multiservice Networks, Workshop, UCL, April 17 
(doesn't clash with any conferences in
my diary - e.g. HPN97 is april 28-may 2) - please send suggexdtions
for invitees to us.....

work for the last 2 years of the MOU:

a. Produce a paragraph (or two) for discussion with BT, BEFORE
Christmas (worst case is over dinner in the 12/12/96 meeting!)

b. Draft plan by Easter workshop (april 17)

c. Full version for integration, right after

d. Formally Submit in May (BT to try to approve June!)
