• PCs routers running FreeBSD

• Multimedia end-hosts running Windows NT

  • For processing bandwidth reasons, audio and video were run on different PCs

• LEARNET ATM PVCs between UCL and Essex

• Native multicast

• For coordination convenience, all experiments were from UCL with a reflector at Essex
