From October 2012 I have started a faculty position at the Department of Architecture, Design and Media Technology at the University of Aalborg.

Since September 2009 I have been working at Jeffrey Huang's Media and Design Lab at EPFL in Switzerland. I have beenworking on an ICT4Development project called Common Sense Net 2.0 with our Indian partner institute CEDT at IISc in Bangalore. We have been developing a mobile application for illiterate farmers that allow them to receive and exchange agricultural information and advice.

I have been teaching the Personal Interaction Studio course at EPFL focussing on mobile interaction design and user experience in mobile applications. You can find the class here. Drop me an email for guest access. In 2011 three of my students were selected to represent Switzerland at the Microsoft Imagine Cup - a student competition to meet the Millenium Development Goals.
