John Dodgson House, UCL's newest Hall of Residence (completed in September 1997), is situated on Bidborough Street London WC1. It has 158 single study bedrooms all with en-suite facilities (shower, toilet and wash hand basin). The rooms are also double glazed, carpeted, have electric central heating and individual telephones. A self-catered Hall, it has kitchen facilities on all floors and these are shared between 5/10 guests. Additional facilities include a large TV room with cable TV and a computer cluster room.
Bed linen and hand towels are provided.
Local shopping facilities are in Marchmont Street and the Brunswick Shopping Centre, a short walk away from the Hall.
This is the closest Hall of Residence to the new British Library on the Euston Road, and is within easy walking distance of Kings Cross and St Pancras Stations, as well as Euston Station for airport buses and rail links to Scotland and Wales. This residence is suitable for small groups and conference delegates.
