Salary (inclusive of London allowance): £35,328 - £42,701 per annum

Duties and Responsibilities

The post is to be held within Department of Computer Science at University College London, and supported by an EPSRC project. The main duties of the post are to develop a mathematical and computational framework for stochastic iterative methods for challenging inverse problems, e.g., optical tomography, and to validate the methods with numerical experiments. 

The funding duration for this post is 3 years.

Key Requirements

The successful candidate should have a PhD degree (completed or close to completion) in applied mathematics, imaging, machine learning or related fields, with expertise in one of the following areas: inverse problems, PDE constrained optimization, numerical analysis and numerical methods for PDEs, and strong programming skills.
