This talk is about early observations of several of these applications, focusing on large scale multimedia conferencing, Distributed Interactive Simulation, Share Trading, and World Wide Web Inter-cache traffic. We will look at multicast (with different distreibution tree topologies creating new multi-bottleneck flows) and QoS requirements (for interactive and bulk transfer, with merged or link-sharable throughput requirements).
