	• IP routing currently is hierarchical • ISPs are “tiered” with core, transit and access ISPs • Intra-as, typically Dijkstra SPF (OSPF or ISIS) single destination, opportunistic (“greedy”), non pinned & symmetric • Inter-AS is path vector policy constrained, single destination, greedy, non pinned and asymmetric
