Marr's Neural Network Simulation

This animation shows the change of the weights between the codon and output layer of Marr's Single Output Neural Network during training. The weights with the same colour belong to the same group, i.e. are updated by the same mountains. Clearly after 1000 training steps the weights for each group cluster around their mean, the network has organised itself.

The dotted vertical lines show the mean of the weights associated with one mountain starting from the group with the same colour. The solid vertical line is the threshold. The neural network will surely respond to the mountains which mean are clearly above the threshold after training. In this example to the light and dark blue mountains.
