Announcements:

Dec. 5: Here is the suggested solutions to the practice problem, now updated with typos corrected!.
Dec. 2: The final exam is scheduled on Dec. 11, 8:00 - 10:00 (Sect. 821-824), Dec. 12, 10:30-12:30 (Sect. 513-515) (check the link at registar). The exam will take place at the lecture room.  Here is one set of practice problems. Important note: The practice problems are meant for practice only, and not a substitute for reviewing relevant parts of the lectures and book!
Dec. 2: The suggested solutions to the third common exam: version A, version B.
Nov. 26: The third common exam is on 7:30-9:30 pm, Tuesday, 27 Nov.. You should bring your own scantron of format 882. The exam covers Sect. 4.2 - 5.7 of the text book.
Oct. 31: Suggested solutions to the 2nd common exam: version A, version B
Oct. 17: The second common exam is on 7:30-9:30 pm, Thursday, 25, October. You should bring your own scantron of format 882. A review is scheduled before the exam. The location of the common exam is the same as the first one, i.e., HELD 109 (Sect. 513-515) and HELD 111 (Sect. 821-824). The exam covers Sect. 3.1-3.11, 4.1-4.2 of the textbook.
Oct. 4: Suggested solutions to the first common exam version A, version B.
Sept. 24: Location of first common exam:  151 (513-515),  HELD 109; 151 (821-824), HELD 111.
Sept. 20: The first common exam is on 7:30-9:30 pm, Thursday, 27 Sept.. You should bring your own scantron of format 882-ES (a sample is here). A review is scheduled on Monday, 24 Setp.
Sept. 14: The week in review on Sept 23 will be a review for the exam(same time 6:30-8:30PM, same location Blocker 102). A few questions about each section will be worked out.
