Alejandro Sztrajman

I'm a Research Assistant and Marie Curie Fellow in the Digital Reality Group at UCL, under the supervision of Prof. Tim Weyrich. My research involves finding new compact representations for material appearance and its efficient translation between BRDF models, combining methods from neural networks, appearance acquisition and visual perception.

I've worked as visiting researcher in Allegorithmic and in the Computer Graphics Group at Charles University. Previously I worked on physics based animation of fluids in the Columbia University Computer Graphics Group.

Between 2013 - 2015 I coordinated the editorial team behind the undergraduate textbook Elementary Electromagnetism by Prof. Juan Roederer. A second edition of the book is currently under preparation and will soon by published by Buenos Aires University Press.
