Welcome to my homepage!

I am Alejandra González-Beltrán and currently, I am a Senior Software Engineer at the Oxford e-Research Centre, at the University of Oxford. I am now involved in the Investigation/Study/Assay (ISA) project. Before, I was a Senior Research Associate on Computational and Systems Medicine within the UCL Division of Research Strategy. I also continue to work in the Department of Computer Science at University College London, where I was a Post-doctoral Research Associate since February 2008.

Before being at UCL, I was awarded a PhD in Computer Science from the School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Queen's University Belfast. I belonged to the High Performance & Distributed Computing Research Group.

Before that, I graduated from the course Licenciatura en Ciencias de la Computación (Licentiateship in Computer Science) at the Facultad de Ciencias Exactas, Ingeniería y Agrimensura (Faculty of Science, Engineering and Surveying), belonging to Universidad Nacional de Rosario (UNR) (National University of Rosario), Argentina. Licenciatura (Licentiateship) is a five-year degree with a final project, which would be equivalent to an MSc in the UK and EU systems.
