I visited both the Politecnico di Milano (Carlo Ghezzi and Dino Mandrioli) and the new University of Milan called Bicocca (Flavio De Paoli). Both centers are active in requirements engineering. The Bicocca is an amazing place, a brand new university started last year, already with 14000 students! They have a lot of room for expansion in computer science. They could benefit from Renoir participation. We discussed various research tracks, mainly the emerging requirements for distributed systems.
