I am a PhD student at Dortmund University, Germany, supervised by Prof. Dr. E.-E. Doberkat. I participated in the Doctoral Symposium at the RE99 symposium on 7th and 8th of June, 1999, in Limerick.

I presented the current status of my thesis "Human-Centered Specification of Multimedia Application with Fuzzy Technologies" and got a lot of feedback from the experts. Also the presentations and discussions of the other PhD students work were very interesting. The "invited" presentations by Dan Berry and Steve Easterbrook on how to write a thesis and the discussion with all attendencies brought a lot of insight into research work in general.
