I attended the PC meeting of the ESEC/FSE organized by Oscar Nierstrasz of the University of Berne. The meeting was excellent with over 150 paper submitted and discussed. 29 papers were accepted for conference presentation. Even though several Renoir members were on the program committee, surprisingly few papers on requiremens engineering were submitted. Perhaps this is due to the RE '99 conference being held in June '99 which must have drawn all the good requirements engineering papers.
