I went to the European Software Engineering Conference (ESEC'99) in
Toulouse upon an invitation from Prof. Anthony Finkelstein. This journey
was a follow up to some work I did in the summer as a Research Assistant at
UCL.
One of the goals in going to ESEC was to get a broader overview of the
topics available for my PhD studies beginning next year. I thus went to
most of the talks and used the occasion to have a chat with some of the
international audience present.
In between the talks there was also some time for me to demonstrate the
working prototype of our BOX (Browsing Objects in UML) tool to interested
people and get their feedback.
