NRS should be considered beta test software.

NRS is open source, licensed under the BSD licence.

This program is distributed in the hope that it will be useful, but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied warranty of MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

There is also a Mac OS X package of the NRS client only.

The very latest version of the NRS development code is available via CVS to NRS developers only. NRS developers are given usernames and passwords. Most users should download one of the official release tarballs (listed above) rather than using CVS.

Set your environment variables like this (assuming a bash shell):

export CVS_RSH=ssh
export CVSROOT=:ext:YOUR_USERNAME@amy.cs.ucl.ac.uk:/cs/re
search/nets/common1/marine/grs/cvs

Then to download:

cvs checkout grs

You may want to use the -r option to specify a particular named code snapshot (e.g -r release-1-0-0)
