The conference organizers have just been informed by the US National Science Foundation that we will be getting a modest amount of funding for US participants of this conference. The primary goal is to support US researchers in their early to mid-career. Participants whose primary employment is in the US and who are either US citizens or non-citizens with a valid visa that permits travel and travel reimbursement will be eligible. The maximum amount of support is US$1000 per person, and can include travel and accomodation support. Normal NSF rules require the use of an American carrier. Those interested in applying for this support should pick up a reimbursement form at the conference registration desk. Note that in the event of over subscription for these funds the final dispensation will be at the discretion of the AIP committee.
