Welcome to the Department of Computer Science.
Thank you for applying to UCL Computer Science.
We are currently considering your application.
Please browse these pages to find out more about what happens at
our UCAS Open Days as well as book your
place on the date of your choice.
Open Day Overview
We know that visiting universities can be daunting,
so we have tried to make our Open Days as informative and enjoyable
as we can. You will not be interviewed at the Open Day –there
is little evidence to suggest that an interview is the best way
to select candidates. We want you to be as relaxed as possible at
the Open Day so that you are able to get the most from it.
The Department

|
The Department of Computer Science
is situated in the recently built Malet Place Engineering
Building, (MPEB), on the main UCL
Bloomsbury campus.
The Open Days are held primarily in the department,
but we also aim to show you some of what the rest of the UCL
campus has to offer.
|
Dress Code
We do not have a strict dress code for the interviews
or Open Day. However, most applicants choose to dress in a smart-casual
manner.
The Schedule of the Day

If you listed any specific requests/needs when booking
your day, we may contact you to discuss them, but otherwise, once
you have completed the online booking form you have done everything
that you need to do.
We will then look forward to meeting
you at the Open Day.
Getting to UCL
By Car
We would usually recommend taking public transport when travelling
to UCL. However, if you do wish to travel by car please be aware
that we are within the congestion
charging zone and there is no parking available on the university
campus. Please also note that the parking
in the Bloomsbury area is very difficult to find and can be expensive.
By Public Transport
Please see our Getting
to UCL pages for further information on how to find the university. The
nearest mainline stations are Euston, and King's Cross St. Pancras
and the closest underground stations are Euston Square, Euston,
Goodge Street and Warren Street. We recommend using the Transport
for London website when planning your journey in London, as
it holds information on all methods of transport in London as well
as having up-to-the-minute information on delays and route changes.
